Indulal Shah y Sarlamma,
Acepten mis bendiciones. Me sentí muy feliz al revisar las cartas enviadas por ustedes. Cuando Chandravadan regrese, les describirá la situación de aquí. ¡La obra está progresando a un ritmo tal que no tengo un momento de descanso! Aunque las lluvias ocasionan cierto retraso, el trabajo se terminará según lo previsto. El camión que transportaba las tuberías necesarias para la obra llegó ayer desde Bengaluru, pero todos los demás trabajos están progresando.
Shah, cada vez que te escribo una carta en telugu, me pregunto, ya que te es difícil leerlas, si a regañadientes te ves obligado a que las cartas te sean leídas en voz alta por otras personas que no pueden apreciar el contenido. Sin embargo, me enteré por Chandravadan que hay buenos devotos que hablan telugu que pueden leerles las cartas. Habiéndome enterado de esto, les envío esta carta alegre y llena de néctar. Si no encuentras difícil Mi Telugu, continuaré escribiendoles en Telugu; de lo contrario, me detendré.

El poder divino es la semilla de todo en la creación. Tu corazón es el asiento de Sai; no hay lugar que sea más sagrado que ese. Cuando una persona tiene un corazón puro, dondequiera que pise, se convierte en Kashi y cada palabra que pronuncia se convierte en un mantra. Tal persona ve belleza en todas partes. Swami está siempre contigo, en ti y alrededor de ti. Él siempre te protegerá con generosa compasión. Tu alegria es el alimento de Sai; tu felicidad es la riqueza de Sai; tu entusiasmo es el placer de Sai.
Hazme saber si esta carta te trajo alegría sin causarte ningún problema por al lenguaje. Si es así, seguiré escribiéndote en telugu.

Accept My blessings. I was very happy to go trough the letters sent by you. When
Chandravadan comes back, he will describe to you the situation here. Work to progressing
at such a pace that I don't get a moment's rest! Though some delay is caused by the
rains, work will be completed as planned. The truck carrying pipes required for the work
arrived yesterday fron Bengaluru, but all other works are progressing.
Shah, whenever I write a letter to you in Telugu, I wonder, since it is difficult for you to
read them, whether you may be unwillingly getting them read out by others who may
not apreciate the content. However, I learned from Chandravadan that there are good
Telugu-speaking devotees who can read out the letters to you. Having learned this, I am
sending this joyful and nectar-filled letter. If you do not find My Telugu difficult, I will
continue to write in Telugu; otherwise I will stop.
For human beings, purity of feeling is most important; but many times, external language
becomes an obstacle to conveying the feelings of the heart. The language of the Atma is
the same in everyone, but the sound of the external language disturbs the language of
silence of the Atma. Men depend on externals for their pleasure, but God is 'Bhavapriya',
or the lover of feeling; therefore, He does not need any external words to convey his
meaning; He speaks in the silence of the heart.
Divine power is the seed of everything in creation. Your heart is the seat of Sai; there
is no place wich is more sacred than that. When a person has a pure heart, wherever
he treads, becomes Kashi; every word uttered by him becomes a mantra. Such a person
sees beauty everywhere. Swami is always with you, in you and around you. He will always
protect you with bountiful compassion. Your bliss is Sai's food; your happiness is Sai's
wealth; your enthusiasm is Sai´s delight.
Do let Me know wheter this letter brought you joy whitout any trouble, because of the
language. If yes, I will continue to write to you in Telugu.
