Al querido devoto Thirumala Rao,

¡Hijo! Recibí tu carta y me sentí feliz. Ellos llegaron aquí en automóvil, para ir a Bangalore, pues Sulochana tenía que someterse a una operación. Llegamos a casa a la una de la mañana, después de ver a Sulochana en el hospital. ‘Son! I received your letter and felt happy. They came here by car to goto Bangalore, as Sulochana was to undergo ‘an operation. We sent them (ahead) and we reached Bangalore in someone else’ car by 11.00 PM; on the day of the operation, ‘We reached home by one O'clock in the night after seeing Sulochena atthe hospital. Meanwiile a Seth's (merchant's) daughter was dangerously il, and she wanted to have my darshan before she lost her life. So had to leave for Mysore immeciately without even taking food at 1.20 in the night. I ‘reached Mysore by five inthe morning and saw the child. Then I drove to Coonoor and stayed there for two days. There I Feceived a telegram stating that 200-300 devotees arrived at Puttaparthi. So left immediately for Puttaparthi on the 4°, without stopping at Mysore or Bangalore but collecting my pressed clothes from Venkalesam's house and pholos from Basava raju’s house in Bangalore at 12.20 in the night; and not wanting to disturb you, I asked Ankamma to tell you about this. I don't know whether she informed you or not. Probably she was not. Son! As I was in a hurry, I could meet you. I do not forget you. You are in my heart. I am quite disturbed by the crowds here day end night. You can know this from the People who came in the car. I could write this letter only by bolting myself in a room. I shall be never away from you and your heart. Inform this lo Pushpamma. It has been a very long lime since we met.
I shall call on you soon, Convey our blessings and kisses to Prasad and Vanitha. I sent money for the stones and wrote a letter to you. I waited for your reply and was disappointed.
